The course is divided in two semesters. The modules proposed for the first semester aim to provide and broaden the fundamental knowledge in order to describe, analyze and quantify the acoustic phenomena inherent to musical sounds. The second semester aims to introduce practical applications of the theoretical concepts addressed during the first semester, providing a current overview of the practical and research problems in Sound Studies.
